How it works

  1. Connect your audio

    Open SermonAccess in a browser on the sound booth computer and choose your mixer feed or a microphone. There's nothing to install.

  2. Pick your languages

    Offer as many languages as you like, and set how many can translate at once so costs stay predictable.

  3. Share the QR code

    Put it in the bulletin or on the screen. You can also make a code for a single language, like a Spanish-only section.

  4. Start the service

    People scan, choose a language, and put in an earbud. You can see how many are listening in each language as you go.

What it costs

You pay 10¢ for every minute a language is being translated. Ten people listening in Spanish costs the same as one, and a language nobody picks costs nothing.

Questions churches ask

How accurate is it?

It's machine translation, so it gets most things right and some things wrong. Names, scripture references, and idioms are the usual trouble spots, and a clean feed from your sound board helps a lot. It isn't a replacement for a trained interpreter when precision really matters. More on accuracy

Do listeners need to download an app?

No. The QR code opens in their phone's browser. They pick a language and press Listen.

Do you record our sermons?

No. Audio and captions pass through for translation and aren't saved. We keep your account details, billing records, and basic service stats like how long a service ran and how many people listened.

When does billing start?

Only once someone picks a language and audio is going to it. Time while the service is paused isn't billed.

What if we run out of credit during a service?

Account owners get a warning when the balance runs low, and you can turn on auto-refill. If a refill payment fails mid-service, translation keeps going until the balance reaches −$5, then stops.
